Lighting bolts strike the water
A black night meets the day
Thunder claps erase the silence
The sky ignites the sea
I am stranded
Rain fall all around

The drifting clouds have gathered
Where moon and stars once shone
My so-called friends have all scattered
Packed their things moved on
Left me stranded
In this god-forsaken town
