Earlier today, Jimmy Rankin took home the award for Country Recording of the Year at this year’s Music Nova Scotia Awards. Mickey Quase was able to accept the award on behalf of Jimmy today in Truro, Nova Scotia. The award was for Jimmy’s latest full-length album, Back Road Paradise, which was released on April 1, 2014.

The official video for Jimmy Rankin’s newest single, “Whiskey When The Sun Goes Down” has now been released to YouTube.  The song is the second single from Jimmy’s most recent album, Back Road Paradise, which was released on April 1, 2014. The video was directed by Stephano Barberis, and was filmed in Downtown Vancouver.
