Producer praises 2011 edition of BVJ

CAMROSE – This weekend’s massive Big Valley Jamboree will go down as one of the best ever, says the country music show’s producer.

Larry Werner, the head organizer for one of the largest country music concerts in Canada, says the show was already considered a success after Saturday, Day 2 of the event.

Roughly 25,000 people filed into the stands during Saturday’s performance, which include Bill Engvall, The Judds, and Jason Aldean, says Werner.

And while attendance numbers have yet to be tallied after Sunday’s massive performance, which included Jimmy Rankin and Toby Keith, Werner says this year’s BVJ could set an attendance record.
